The TW is the downward push exerted on the hitch ball by the trailer coupler. Check your owner's manual to find the maximum GTW and TW for your vehicle. Important: Do not tow the trailer if either the GTW or the TW exceeds the towing vehicle's maximum towing capacity. Check the weight-rating code(s). "WIRE" letters (AA, BB, CC, DD) indicate the connectors or light converters that are recommended for the Class I hitch.
